Patar Beach boasts of its white sand and crystal clear water. Around 19 kilometers from the town proper, this local tourism has captured the hearts of tourists both local and international. With its new look after the LGU continued to dismantle coogees to add order and beauty to the place, tourism industry scaled since then. This captured a highest level of appreciation which open doors.

This Bolinao Marine Laboratory serves as an official marine station of the Marine Science Institute (MSI) University of the Philippines. The town of Bolinao opened the first study site of the UPMarine Science Institute in 1976. Its coral reefs turned part of the nationwide assessment of the country’s coral reef status. In 1983, the local Government Unit of Bolinao donated the lot which served as the site of the field marine laboratory. Approximately 2.5 kilometers away from the town.
ST. CLAIRE MONASTERY
For pilgrim, make sure to visit St. Claire Monastery in Barangay Luna. The monastery was established following the visit of Mother Jeromima de Asuncion of the Order of Saint Clare (Poor Clares) and Franciscan friar to the town in 1621. A market was built near the park to commemorate the event.
CAPE BOLINAO LIGHTHOUSE
Rising at 351 feet above sea level atop Punta Piedra point which is a towering hill of solid rock in Brgy. Patar, the Cape Bolinao Lighthouse has a visibility of about 20 miles towards the Lighthouse in Patar Point. Constructed in 1905 by American, British, and Filipino engineers, this majestic structure has a total of 134 steps out of its six platforms that has 20 rungs to include 14 other steps to the illumination room.
ST. JAMES THE GREAT PARISH
Built in 1609, the St. James the Great Parish Church is the only religious structure in the country that bears Coat-charms of Spain. The Church and the miniature image of the town of Bolinao take pride as one of the Philippine landmarks that are treasured and displayed at Legoland Malaysia. The edifice was constructed out of black coral stones and its 75 feet tower is considered as one of tallest in the entire country.
SILAQUI GIANT CLAM NURSERY
It was established by UP Marine Science Institute and is home of the largest living bivalve mollusks or the giant clam capital of the country which is known to be one of the endangered clam species. Over the years, the municipality of Bolinao has developed Santiago Island as Giant Clam Ocean, Nursery, and Marine Protected Areas. A sanctuary of the endangered species.
BOLINAO FALLS & TARA FALLS
Located in Brgy. Tara, Brgy. Samang Norte and Brgy. Tupa which is around 156 kilometers away from the proper, this tourism site has fast become popular among tourists who are in search for nature adventure. The series of falls have shallow water in the proximity but gets deeper as one progresses into the water. With a huge basin that spans around 20 meters of its wildest, the falls has only line drop but the rock formations are almost similar.
DEWEY SANDBARS
Like a floating cloud against blue skies, sandbars have always been picture perfect. The series of excitement while walking along a ship of sandbar with a view of endless sea on both sides is fascinating especially for certified beach bums.
UNDERGROUND CAVES
The town is endowed with natural wonders as caves abound specifically in Patar area. These caves are underground swimming pools. With the Stalactites and stalagmite adding grandeur to nature's deepest wonders. Who else could resist to take a dip a plunge into its cool and clear waters.
BALINGASAY RIVER
Cited as Region 1’s two time winner of the DILG’s Gawad Pangulo sa Kapaligiran Award for Cleanest and Greeniest Inland Body of Water Category and recipient of the prestigious Wildlands Conservation Award in 1994, Balingasay River stretches in an approximate area of 5.5 kilometers from the Quilboar Spring and cascading to the Bolinao falls in Samang Norte. Teemed with same 1.5 hectares of century old and newly grown mangrove and 30 hectares of nipa and mangrove palms with wild ferns hanging on trees, the area is considered as a fish sanctuary. Cruising the long span of the ricer could bring solace to the soul. Passing through the verdant view allows visitors to wander in awe and experience cathedral of silence and a deep commune with nature.
BOLINAO ROCK FORMATIONS
Also known as Punta Piedra or point of the rocks. This is where you can see the natural and spectacular Rocks formed by the incessant lapping of tidal waves against the shore through the centuries. It is located along Patar Road going to the famous Cape Bolinao Lighthouse and Patar White Beach. It is also near to other Bolinao’s tourist spots.
MANGROVE NURSERY
The PMIC is being managed by the Provincial Government of Pangasinan through the Provincial Agriculture Office. This center is also one of the most favourite tourist spot as Best Learning and Discovery Area in the province and to appreciate the importance and value of Mangroves in the coastal communities.
SALT FARMS
The biggest salt making facility in the Philippines. Pacific Farms Inc. is a 500 hectares salt farm that produces 30,000,000 to 40,000, 000Kilos of salt annually.
PEOPLE’S MARKET
This is the main market in town. Here you can buy meat, fruit, vegetables, and household items like buckets, mops, shoes, flip flops, sandals, cups, candy, and anything else you need. And it is located near important establishments like the Municipal Hall, Saint James the Great Parish and more.
LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR
Little Sisters of the Poor to whom the Church has entrusted the Apolistic Mission of Hospitality to the Aged poor, welcome the elderly of all nationalities and beliefs.
